Harry Enfield's Television Programme was a British sketch show starring Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse. It was first broadcast on BBC Two in 1990 in the Thursday 9 pm slot, which became the traditional time for alternative comedy on television. Enfield was already an established name due to his 'Loadsamoney' character, but the series gave greater presence to his frequent collaborators Paul Whitehouse and Kathy Burke – so much so, that in 1994 the show was retitled Harry Enfield and Chums.

Tim-Nice-But-Dim attempts to make conversation with a journalist, The Slobs buy a car, and The Old Gits are in typically mean-spirited form.
Episode 2
Has-been DJ’s Smashie and Nicey talk about holidays, mechanics Lee and Lance have an ‘intelligent’ conversation with a funeral director and The Slobs attend their child’s christening.
Episode 3
The Slobs watch football on the TV, plain-speaking Yorkshireman George Whitebread starts a new job, and The Old Gits get burgled.
Episode 4
Tim-Nice-But-Dim irritates a bookshop owner, DJ’s Smashie and Nicey discuss the environment, and The Slobs take a photo.
Episode 5
Brash Yorkshireman George Whitebread tries his hand at being a group therapist, The Old Gits visit a library and The Scousers are bickering, as usual.
Episode 6
The Old Gits win the pools, The Scousers try being nice to each other and Tim-Nice-But-Dim mingles at a buffet.
