In 1997, scientists and local government officials in Wrocław face life-and-death decisions when a destructive flood wave threatens the city.

A hydrologist, politician and town mayor come together to explore possible solutions to the rising water levels that threaten thousands in the area.
Episode 2
Tremer ties up loose ends and tries to persuade her mother to evacuate while rumors about the coming flood spread through the town, causing a panic.
Episode 3
When the residents of Kęty push back against the decision to flood the town, Marczak seizes an opportunity to gain political support.
Episode 4
After the river overflows and floods the basement, the hospital staff rushes to evacuate the patients. The military and governor arrive in Kęty.
Episode 5
With Klara’s safety in question, Marczak rushes across town to find her. Tremer reaches out to an old friend to help her mother.

As the water recedes and residents start to rebuild the city, Tremer must decide whether to tell Klara the truth about her past.
