After Elisa's disappearance, Danilo Restivo moves to Bornemouth, Great Britain. As soon as he arrives, a neighbor, Heather Barnett, is found dead.

17 years after Elisa's disappearance, a group of workers discover her body in the attic of the Church of the Trinity in Potenza. The case seems to be at a turning point.
