Episode 1
Kofi, who is 11, is rushed into resus, critically injured after being hit by a van. Roger, 73, is attempting to come to terms with his own mortality.
Episode 2
Alex, 19, has badly injured his hand punching a window. 31-year-old motorcyclist Brendan has had a head-on collision with a car. Pat, who is 78, has broken her arm.
Episode 3
Chris Lacy finds himself being tested to the limits after three trauma patients arrive in quick succession. One of them has been shot in the face, another has been stabbed in the chest and a third has been knifed in his head.
Episode 4
39-year-old Sean has had too much to drink and has ended up tripping over a clothes horse and broken his neck.
Episode 5
Peggy, who is 89, is rushed in with a suspected stroke. Sally has sliced her finger opening a jar. Charlie, 60, is back for the second time in a week after previously being discharged following a crash.
Episode 6
35-year-old Colin has been stabbed by a home intruder. Nancy, 87, collapsed at home, where she lives alone. And Robert, a former lawyer who's lost his family and home to alcoholism, is brought to A&E very drunk.
Episode 7
Working a 12-hour night shift the team have to treat some young men with stab wounds and as their friends wait in the A&E waiting room the tension begins to increase.
Episode 8
22-year-old Claire is in A&E after being knocked off her bike. 73-year-old John is admitted after a routine health screening revealed a potentially-deadly abdominal aortic aneurysm. 92-year-old Eileen has fallen and spent the night on the floor at home.
Episode 9
Colin, 32, has been attacked with a knife and cut his arm. Father and son Morris and Colin sustain life-threatening injuries from gatecrashers to their family party. Catherine, 21, lost consciousness at a party.
Episode 10
William has broken his leg in three places, after being crushed by a cherry picker. Nick has fallen from a 10-metre ladder onto concrete. Darren has put his arm through a window while cleaning it.
Episode 11
Stuart, 59, has come into A&E with a suspected heart attack. 78-year-old Reginald has a life-threatening gut condition. Richard has twisted his knee moon-walking in a club.
Episode 12
Staff at King's battle to save an 18-year-old who's been stabbed in a street fight. Omar, who is 88, is brought into A&E after experiencing severe stomach pains. Hany has tried to overdose on drugs.
Episode 13
74-year-old Ted and his wife Irene are in the A&E department for the tenth time this year. Ted is suffering with terminal bladder cancer, but his condition has got much worse.
Episode 14
Clive, who is 61 and an alcoholic, has come in with a suspected stroke. Joseph, 16, has had a stroke after collapsing at school. A regular patient who suffers from schizophrenia is admitted for the 19th time in a year.
