Germany's Next Topmodel
Germany's Next Topmodel is a German reality television show, based on a concept that was introduced by Tyra Banks with America's Next Top Model. The competition is hosted by Heidi Klum. She also serves as the lead judge and executive producer of the show.

Who will be Germany's next supermodel? 11,637 young women applied! Heidi Klum invites 32 of them to her first show, in which twelve candidates are ultimately selected for the race for “Germany’s Next Top Model”. A hard and merciless battle begins for them, because: They are all attractive, but brilliant looks alone are not enough.

Today Heidi Klum is taking her twelve girls to New York. There they watch, among other things, how the crème de la crème of top models - Heidi Klum, Gisele Bündchen, Naomi Campbell and many more - prepare for the Victoria's Secret show and are also allowed to walk down the famous catwalk themselves.
Dare
The ten girls from “Germany’s Next Top Model” certainly imagined it differently: At their first meeting with Klum’s husband Seal, the young models wanted to look perfect, but he surprises them in the middle of a visit to the hairdresser… In the next test, the girls have to spontaneously complete a catwalk on the Düsseldorf Rheinbahn. On platform three, the young models present themselves in crop tops, miniskirts and tight dresses - with great success.

New tasks already await the girls: acting training with Erol Sander and another exciting photo shoot with a top photographer. This time it's time to dive on the way to the next round! Shortly afterwards, another challenge awaits Jennifer, Yvonne, Lena M., Janina, Charlotte and Lena G.: the choreographer of the musical “We will rock you” is training with them. Then they have to put what they have learned into practice in front of the camera in extravagant outfits.
Sexy moves
Early in the morning, a whole new challenge awaits Jennifer, Yvonne, Lena M., Janina, Charlotte and Lena G. in the race for “Germany’s Next Top Model”: the choreographer of the musical “We will rock you” was flown in from London for rocking dance training. A little later it's time to implement what you've learned! The candidates are supposed to dance on stage in extravagant outfits in front of photographer Norbert Baeres.
Bodypainting
Joanne Gair, international body painting artist, transforms the girls into big cats. And they are only dressed in paint. Beforehand, they have to face a special challenge: the girls present themselves at an incognito fashion show in Düsseldorf in front of top model Marcus Schenkenberg. And they can't let the "most beautiful" man in the world make them nervous.
Sunny California
Surprise for Janina, Jennifer, Yvonne and Lena G. at Munich Airport. None of them have any idea where they are going. Curious, they open Heidi Klum's letter: “Dear girls, I hope you have recovered a little and are fit for a long journey. I have already prepared a lot for you and I am really looking forward to seeing you. See you in Los Angeles…” It will be interesting to see what the four young models will experience in sunny California.
Paris here we come!
Jennifer? Yvonne? Or Lena G.? The winner of “Germany’s Next Top Model – by Heidi Klum” will not be announced until March 29, 2006! But all three are already in great demand: While the international agency IMG Models and the German COSMOPOLITAN were already convinced of the winner's extraordinary potential before the broadcast started, the international fashion brand Oui Set (a collection from the Oui Group) is now offering a nine-month exclusive advertising contract as an additional prize.
The finale
Showdown in Cologne! On Wednesday evening, the door to an international modeling career opens for Jennifer, Yvonne or Lena: Who will be “Germany’s next top model”? For the broadcaster ProSieben, an innovative project is coming to a successful end after ten weeks: Up to 17.8 percent of the advertising-relevant target group are excited about superstar Heidi Klum and her top model candidates week after week. “Everyone developed really well from day one,” enthuses Heidi Klum. “But only one can become ‘Germany’s next top model’.” Lena, Yvonne and Jennifer have been wallowing in happiness since last week.
