Evan brings Ron Xie in for questioning. Victor Li and his son Zhongchen continue their push to buy Xie Holdings. Ron discovers the Li’s backed the smear campaign against him. Ron tells his bodyguard to destroy evidence linking him to Jennifer Liu.

Evan brings Teresa in for questioning. Anna and Zhongchen struggle to keep their relationship a secret. Victor visits Weiran and powerful emotions are aroused. Jo receives a new batch of letters.

Evan and Jo bring Ron’s bodyguard in for questioning. Jo confronts her mother about the mysterious letters. Victor discovers Zhongchen and Anna’s secret affair. Jo and Evan cross a line.

Jo responds to a jailhouse request. Anna is called in for questioning and a secret is revealed. She convinces Jo and Evan to let her help them catch a killer. Jo is stunned to receive a package from Weiran.
