
Two in Clover
Two in Clover is a British sitcom produced by Thames Television for two series from 1969 to 1970 on ITV. It starred Sid James and Victor Spinetti and was written by Vince Powell and Harry Driver, and produced and directed by Alan Tarrant. The first series was made in black and white and the second series was made in colour. Frustrated office workers Sid Turner and Vic Evans decide to leave behind their nine-to-five lifestyle for the simpler life of living in the countryside and running a farm.
Episodes
Episode One
Tired of the rat race, Sid Turner and Vic Evans leave their office and buy Clover Farm.
Episode Two
In an attempt to adapt to country life, Sid and Vic join the local hunt. However, they're outraged to learn the hunt is foxes, so they protest to protect innocent foxes.
Episode Three
Sid accidentally drops manure on Mr Bromley-Jones' car. As revenge, Bromley-Jones kidnaps one of Sid and Vic's cows.
Episode Four
Sid and Vic duke it out for a night with pretty telephone operator Liz Corbett.
Episode Five
When old friend Queenie and her husband Bert turn up at Clover Farm, little do Sid and Vic realise the amount of trouble they will be.
Episode Six
Sid and Vic upset Bromley-Jones again, but Sid has a scheme that will make Bromley-Jones bend the knee to them.
Episode Seven
Sid is furious when Vic sends Fanny, Sid's favorite cow, to the slaughterhouse.
